Default Rusty's rocker slider panels?

Anyone have experience with these? I know they're only 1/8", but when on top of the factory rocker i'm sure they are pretty strong for minor hang ups and dings. Can't find much about them since they are pretty new so not a lot of people have bought them or even used them. I've never been on rocks, have gone over trees and humps, so this would mostly be used in the event I high center over a mud hump or fallen tree.

I helped a buddy put a set of these on. They require about 10 holes to be drilled per side into the rocker. The nutserts are a PITA if you have not done them before and they supply zero extras. Getting all the holes lined up and drilled requires extra sets of hands so have some help. If you have cut your fenders for bigger tires, you will need to trim these.

I think they would protect rockers for light to medium rock contact.

I don't have trimmed flares by the body, the goal is to have a cheap, light weight, and stock look so that's why these appeal to me. Why was it a pita for the nut insert? What were your impressions of them despite the struggles?

They do look good. Low profile and tight to the rocker.

The nutserts give you one shot to get it perfect. If it is off slightly or does not collapse and catch on the backside you don't have a way to fix it and need another one. His came with no extras. Go slow and take your time.

I would recommend after drilling the holes to paint the bare metal to prevent rusting. Maybe seal them around the nutserts with rtv to keep water out.

Let us know how it goes.
