Rustoleum high gloss
Do they sell this @ Home Depot? Their site is useless. I ask because I need a gallon of it in a specific color, so it would be cool if they could use the color machine to crank it out for me.
Teaser: It's almost warm enough to paint the ZJ. I have about 10-12 hours of prep to do still, waiting till it's almost paint time. I don't like driving a primed car, exposes it to the elements pre-paint. I spent a few years spraying in a body shop, very very very excited to try the roll on method.
It's all in the prep and wet sanding, so I'm not worried.

The Home Depot near me has the quarts but I'm not sure if they have gallons of Rustoleum. I could be wrong but I don't think they can mix oil base paints.

I don't need a gallon if i get a few quarts. Roll on method will go out the window if i can't get the color i want.

Awesome I will take a look there for sure. If i can't find the green that I want the project gets more expensive because I will need to buy a compressor, spray gun, and find the paint. Would really rather roll it on and then wet sand it to perfection.

I'm trying to find a BRIGHT green. Heading up to Menards later today to look.
I can pull down the stuff i need to spray for around $250 + paint, but I don't feel like spending it for something i dont HAVE to do. Plus the compressor is more crap to move up to Alaska with me.

Sherwin Williams carries it in my area.... Not in gallons, but they'll sell you 4 quarts at the gallon price and custom match it for you... Mostly they keep black and deep base in stock but some stores carry the white base that would probably be used for the green you're wanting. Even if they don't have it on the shelf they can order it for ya and have it in the store within a week. I'm a painter by trade and do 90% of my business there....
As a side note, I've had much better luck with their (Sherwin Williams brand) Industrial enamel than rustolium.... Seems to level out better and has a harder finish.

Yea but how is it for Auto? Checked all around yesterday, and Rustoleum Flurescent Green only comes in rattle can. I can make it look good, i just wanted to roll it on.
As a side note they sell glow in the dark paint (7oz @ 7 bucks though) that is like a drab yellow in the daytime. If it was a nicer color in the day i would have to paint it glow in the dark lol
