Default ROOF RACKS?!?

im looking for roof rack suggestions.... i want something relatively low profile and low cost. any suggestions would be awesome. i need a place to carry my spare and cant decide between a rear mounted spare or a roof mounted spare.. so if you have any suggestions on rear bumpers with tire mounts thatd be awesome too! thanks for reading!

i would definitely advise you to keep your spare on a swing out tire carrier/bumper mount.

i had mine on the roof rack and it decreases your mpg a little, but most of all, it makes it top heavy. this sux both on and off road, especially when sway bars are disconnected in off camber situations.
moving it to the bumper was the best thing i could have done.

And with the off road bumper you get some rear protection out of it.

....and recovery points! Make sure the bumper mounts tie into the uni-frame, though...

If you have a hitch you can add a tire carrier and recovery point(s) from Detours. http://www.detoursusa.com/knucklebone.php

If you paint the bumper body color it will blend in better.
