That price is just for the carrier. No bumper

They make a 50" by 72" but I'm not sure if it would fit, the one I got came with everything to mount on mine on amazon

I have Nates4x4.com rack 48" x 72". remove center section for 48" x 48".
Steel 7/8" tube. 65 pounds. Gutter mount. $300 delivered, bare steel.
I use it for all kinds of stuff, camp shower (PVC pipe), mud ramps, hi lift base, fishing poles, surfboards, canopy poles, hi-lift bar.
Made a crude wind-fairing for it. Definitely helps with wind noise, I often have a headwind (or tailwind) of 30 mph here.

You could weld tabs on any carrier to match your needs.

I like yours man. Nice set up and I like the way the rack cover the full roof. Lots of storage.

They're not my thing, but the ones that cover the entire roof area look the best and I'm sure provide lots of storage space. That said, I absolutely HATE seeing spare tires mounted up there. Annoys the hell out of me for some reason. Like it's not practical to have to wrestle this heavy *** tire down off the roof, and it makes your rig top-heavy.

only time I would put my spare up there is if I had to put something in the back and didn't have room for both

Regarding wheel weight on the roof, I run 31" tires and lightweight 'Ravine' wheels. But a 33" on a steelie would cause a hernia I'm sure.
I usually do not carry it but since we have no trees or rocks, the spare tire is part of a self-recovery kit as a 'sand anchor'. Bury it with a looped strap and you can winch from it.

This is the one I was referring to

https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f58/li...f-rack-201551/

I like the idea of keeping it low profile but, I am not sure I would do the light cut outs.

Nates4x4 rack is 4" tall. I modified the gutter mounts so the rack sits on the factory roof-rails on rubber bumpers, and only has 1/2" of clearance to sheetmetal roof.
