you could put a rock **** on an auto, but you wouldn't have the button, so the shifter would easily shift out of park, or from drive to reverse accidentally.

not a good idea if you have kids around your jeep.

not unless someone makes one with a button.

 

there are cool straight up handles with buttons for autos, look around.

 

One post on here about using a pool ball showed how to rig it up to where the button was replaced by pushing the whole pool ball down. Same principle as the rocknob, basically.
