I love the idea and concept....

Just depends on how you wheel. Many folks will chime in that it's junk and that you need a fully welded setup or more triangulation.. but if your buying it as a lil extra piece of mind for yourself and family yet rarely find yourself in situations that you need one.. it'll be fine.

If you're a hard-core nut I'd have one built.

I've wheeled for 10 years without a cage in unibodies... flopped once.

In hindsight... it'll make you more top heavy too...

Some of the older wranglers used a bolt in roll bar/half cage.If its a daily driver i wouldn't put a cage in it.There is bars close to your head you could hit in a bad enough wreck.

With a new daughter I have been looking at cages and considered this one too. But for the price you could probably pay someone to make something a little stronger.

I've been pricing interior cages and exo cages and what I've came up with is for a custom build interior cage is $2,000 and for a full exo cage is $3,000 to 4,000

Dang. Didn't think it would be that much. The rock hard lot doesn't look too bad anymore.
