I was driving yesterday and almost got home when some small dog ran in front of my XJ. I stopped, thought I had run over it for sure, but I saw it running away, unhurt. That was just a close call, but have u guys ever run over some animal?

My dad is a truck driver and he has killed a lot of animals. He just killed a bat. It is still in the truck's grill. Instead of having that red bow people put on their vehicles for christmas, he has a bat with extended wings.

Almost hit a dog last night on my way home....30 seconds from my house this dog jumped out of a ditch like it was ambushing any car that went by.

....So far I've ran over 2 squirrels....stupid squirrels. They keep running across the road no matter what, then they stop half way across....i laugh sometimes because its funny how they panic.

Oh wow, poor things. I've been pretty close to killing like 3 dogs already, but I have managed to break right before hitting them...of course I make sure no car is behind me.

I ran over a deer while night wheeling once at 5 mph or less (about a 150-175lb'er). I didn't see it, it must have been ducking down, tried to sneak out directly in front of me, all I felt was a big bump. I looked in my mirror and the tj behind me had stopped, and I see the deer laying in the trail in front of it. It couldn't stand up and was flopping around, so we had to put it out of its misery. No damage to the jeep.

A skunk, makes the Jeep stink for three days on the outside, the stink on the inside is my own.

Some friends of mine and I were caravaning down to 6 flags 'chicago' from Milwaukee. A squirrel ran out in the middle of the freeway, did a double take cuz he wasn't sure where to go (panic) and was clipped by the lead car. Somehow it was tossed in the air and was launched over the 2nd car, which was a larger SUV, so it got some major air time.

Everyone tried to call each other right away, but we all got busy signals.

On a side note, I killed 2 squirels with 2 pears in my back yard (have witnesses). We've got a pear tree and the damn squirrels always grab one, take a bite, and toss it for another. Wasteful little critters.

Anyway, I was all alone out in the driveway taking the interior panels out of the back of my XJ when I saw a squirrel on the side of my neighbor's garage. I saw a pear that had been discarded by another little critter, so I grabbed it thinking I'd hit the garage somewhere near the squirrel and it'd get scared away. I tossed a quick, poorly aimed fast ball at the squirrel, and I clocked it square in the head, killing it. My fiance was watching me out our window, wondering what the hell I was doing. Then she saw the squirrel hit the ground.

Fast forward to the next evening, I came home from work. A guy I knew in the neighborhood was walking down the alley and stopped to talk to me. I told him about the previous night's squirrel killing, and he didn't believe me. At that moment another squirrel had jumped on a garbage can right in front of the same garage. I picked up yet another pear and gave another hard toss in the squirrel's direction, another direct hit to the head. The thing drops off the trash can and starts doing this weird roll/flop on the ground, so I grabbed the BB gun and put it out of its misery.

To this day I still can't believe I'm that deadly with simple fruit projectiles.

I creamed a small dog in my 99 eclipse back in high school. I was on some back roads I knew very well going about 60 (speed limit 55) and noticed in the distance a dog in the road. It got out of my way but as I was getting closer and while paying more attention to the dog on the left shoulder another smaller dog walked out in front of my car. It was horrible.
