Value really depends on where you live, to be honest. It may be worth more where you live than it would be around here. But here, I can buy clean rust free XJs with around 150k miles for $1000 and less. My buddy bought his nice, almost fully loaded 4.0 auto 4x4 2 door Laredo for $7-800 delivered to his house (don't remember exactly what he paid), my old roommate paid $350 for the MJ I have now, and I paid $500 for my 2 door XJ.
Where you are, that could be worth more, but I'm just trying to give you an idea of what we pay for rust free Jeeps (except a little rust on mine in the floorboard) around here.

You'll be lucky to get $50 if you sell it to someone on here.

Drive it to Michigan. (Do you have any family or friends up here?) You'd get $1000-$1200 pretty easily I think.. Rusty rockers are the norm here... LOL

Well I posted the xj on CL Thursday night and had tons of interest. Unfortunately that next morning I had a bad brake cylinder, so I couldn't sell it under good faith till I fixed it. I bought a new brake cylinder but the wheel was rusted on the hub so bad I couldn't get it off. I tried everything! A local shop wanted to charge way too much to replace the brake cylinder, so I just got fed up with it and decided to see what I can get for trade in value. I wasn't expecting much but a huge autoplex here gave me $1300 towards a Dodge Ram which is exactly what I was looking for. Needless to say, but I got lucky.

Thanks for all the responses, it was a huge help. This forum truly is great, even though I was only here barely a month.

Congrats. I knew you would do good with it as a trade in.

I know it sold, but probably $1200-1500 around here, maybe $2k. But we're also high around here on XJs, they go for more than ZJs and even a lot of WJs around here.
