Default Resale value of my Jeep?

I may be looking to get a full size truck soon for a business idea I'm having. I love my Jeep but I'll need the functionality of a full size truck for my plans.

She's basically a virgin 1995 Sport 4x4 with 206k miles. Motor and auto trans are excellent. She gets 18-19 mpg in town. I was told there's a lift but I have no idea how/when it was done. The only downside are the rusted rockers.

Please check out the pics below and let me know how much you guys would pay for my Jeep. I'll post a local ad on CL as soon as I get a decent idea of what to expect.

Thanks!

$800. You mentioned rust and high miles, which kills value. I don't see a lift from those pics. What size tires are those? Looks stock to me.

Lift kits do not increase the value of the vehicle, neither does stereo equipment. I would rate that at 500 bucks because of the rusted rocker panel.

$1000 tops. Rust, and having over 200k miles isn't helping anything. And any aftermarket parts don't add to the value of the Jeep.

Around my area Buffalo NY, if it's got 4 wheel drive start at $2000 and see if anyone bites. They will always lowball you, start high. Final price would be around $800 to $1,200

Buy a trailer instead of a truck.

In Jackson WY you could probably get $1500 - $2000 for that. Not alot of options here and anything with 4wd sells.

Thanks for the responses guys. I knew mods don't add value to sports cars but wasn't sure about the offroad crowd, though I was pretty sure it'd be the same.

I figure she's a good project for someone that just wants one for mudding, wheeling, etc. Here in Arkansas there's lots of interest in that, so I'll post an ad kinda high and hope for around $1K. If all I get is offers for $500 then I'll likely just trade her in.

Thanks again!

if you get offers from private parties for $500, youre probably gonna get less than that if you traded it in

Doubt that would happen. Most dealers will show you $1,000 for most trade ins. Depends on the dealer, what he is getting, and credit situation. If you don't get $1,000ish for trade in, try another dealership.

That's a $1200 Jeep right there.
