Agreed. Way to give the mighty Cherokee badge a black eye! This is like Pee Wee Herman renaming himself to Chuck Norris.

 

Most of the noise in the real Jeep world is about the Jeep brand and what it stands for. Sleek crossovers are not what Jeep is about.

I found this interesting special that the History Channel did on Jeep. Worth a watch.

Whats funny is that she said chrysler commented back to me saying that the new cherokee is basically a POS.

Chrysler had to say that the new cherokee has lower gearing..and it produces more HP then the v6 (yes..they say v6) of the original cherokee.
