Default replacing steering stabilizer?

so im trying to replace my stock steering stabilizer with the rc big bore one i just got and how do i get the lock nut off? the po decided to cut the cutter pin so theres a tiny bit sticking out on each side but not enough to grab on to. any ideas

Push the pin through with something that would go through the hole as well. Try another cutter pin.

If I can't get the cotter pin out I just force the nut off. Air tools make this easier. Your probably not going to mess up the threads and if you do its on an old part!
Just wait till you try to get the taper bolt out of the steering link!!
