It's doable - do you plan on using the extra capacity? 140A is easier to get, less work, and probably more in line with your needs (in general - I don't know what your needs are specifically...)

No I don't plan on doing or needing it but it has me intrigued. Just wanted to see if anyone had feedback on the product.

Unless you really need it, you're better off saving your money. The Delco CS-130 can be cranked up to 140A by any competent shop with almost no effort. You can go farther if you're willing to spend some money on the internals - I think you can go up to 300A with Rush Power Systems - but it smarts!

If you're not sure, I can give you some direction - I'll just need information.

However, I find that dealing with local/small shops works out a good deal better all around - you're probably talking to the guy who actually does the work, and they have more time to wring a part out before it leaves the shop (take Rod - my builder - for instance. He doesn't do "Statistical Process Control" - he QCs every part himself, so he knows all of his work is sound when he releases it. Why do you think I've been using him for about 15 years now?)

Currently all I have that's not factory is a 1200w amp and sub, new head unit, and the upgraded headlight harness with new nighthawk bulbs. When my sub hits while I'm at a stop light my lights dim slightly. I plan on adding roof lights on all sides, but that's far in the future. I'm not even sure what watt I'm going for, I'm thinking LEDs because of the low draw and high light output, but dang there expensive.

Even high output alts cant stop dimming lights since alts dont charge high until 1200rpm. Get a reliable power cap for now. A 1200w amp is only putting putting 600rms if wired at for ohms. And thats only if your charging 14.4v even while its loaded. Jeeps are a pain to upgrade voltge output since the regulator is built into the pcm. If you dont want dimming lights there always hids. They dont dim when the bass hits. Ive got a 220a alt in my zj
