Default removing road paint?

my mom ran over a yellow line of road paint many a year ago before i owned this cherokee and its still there and not budging. anyone know how to remove it? im trying to remove my fender flares but the bolts/nuts are covered and making it impossible any help would be great.

Lauqer thinner but be careful with it cause you can take the clear coat and paint off just go over it with water and little bit of wax after words

Mineral spirits but can't you dig it off the bolts with a knife or something?

Small torch? That's the big flame. But it puts out decent heat.

hHhHAHAHAA Thanks for the ideas ill try it today. i was able to get it off most of the bolts. i have thought about painting my car with it since its pretty tough paint. and it would be one bright beast. any one know what that stuff consists of?

Some bright yellow on the bottom so when you flip your already signaling for help! Haha multiple uses

O well shoot man your a stone throw away ive probably seen you before cause i used to go through their just bout every other day. I live right across the highway from the alpine up by the newberry commons now. If your heading north on 83 from york you will see my comanche and lifted 2dr xj and then the girlfriends white 00 xj with craigers

Try a clay bar. Much less likely to damage your factory paint than these other methods.

Claybar is good for lighter stuff that road paint is alot worse. I detailed cars for 6 years and we always used lacquer thinner only thing that worked good
