Default Recomendations for offroad lights.

I'm looking for some offroad lights to put on my jeep. I'm gonna put 2 on my winch bumper and then 4 or 5 on a light bar up top.. What's a good brand of lights that are affordable. I don't want to pay $75 a light.. If I could get all of them for around 300, that'd be awesome.

Advance auto has some nice lights and are heavy duty, 18.00 a piece but they don't come with any switch or wiring.

the Mock KC Daylighters (TLC's) arent too bad but the Hella's are a good reliable set... plus the cops don't pay too much attention to em when they're on your roof and uncovered compared to the full bodied chrome TLC's or KC's.... Occasionally Wally world has the hella's on clearance for around $45 for a pair

Default What's cheap lite?

I use 5 on top, 2 on stock bumper location, Blazer brand, available in metal chrome and black plastic housings, I use the black plastic, same reflector and no exterior rusting, 3rd year, yes Ontario salts heavily in the winter. Considered cheap light at $32 pair at our local Canadian Tire hardware stores. I replace the hold down bolt with a stainless carriiage bolt, eventually the interior gets intrusion of water and salt etc, and rusts. Have one on the bumper now that is pooched, cheap to replace. Roof is 3 white pencil beam ahead and 2 amber with wide beam to cover the left and right frontal closer in.
I have saved 4 of my main Silverstar headlights. The low beams are pooched but high beam is functioning, going to fab a housing for 4 or 5 to replace the roof setup, perhaps couple more on a front stinger with winch. Now that will be blinding. Future plan anyways. Remember to power your light selection through one or more relays and use good heavy wire, (10ga) and good grounds. Each light will pull about 5 amps. Go with what you can afford and keep in mind where you want to go with it.

Find a caterpillar/alban dealer near you and get a set of the 3 inch 12 volt square lights, you have to grind a little on the bracket, and take them apart and reassemble them opposite of how they come. But You can get them in flood and spot. The flood lights Are very impressive, i had 2 on my last cherokee, will be putting 2 on this one. 2 is all you need of the flood ones, trust me. I dont think they were cheap, around 20.00 a light.

These are what you want:
Amazon.com: Hella H71020801 Optilux Model 1900 12V/100W Chrome Halogen Driving Lamp Kit: Automotive Amazon.com: Hella H71020801 Optilux Model 1900 12V/100W Chrome Halogen Driving Lamp Kit: Automotive

Great lights. I have 2 KC 233s on my front bumper and 4 of these on my roof rack and they all look the same. I sanded mine down some and painted them because 1. Some say they rust 2. I wanted black.
Don't bother with wally world **** or harbor freight crap.

I've never liked the looks of those huge chrome offroad lights myself. But the OP may be different, which is why i recommended the ones i did.
