Well I rolled the silver bullet.. Think I'm gonna cut the roof off & replace it. And go doorless, but with door bars like a buggy.. No b-post & probably cut out the c-post as well.. Some pics of the damage in this thread below
.. What do you guys think?? It still works great.. Just needs some body work lol. I'll start a build thread soon. Already have a 2wd donor that was free.. Probably toss the dash & steering column and all wiring. And go back with aluminum dash & minimum wiring. BTW, it's the first few pics.

If that happened to mine, I would truthfully take what I needed out of it, scrap the rest, and buy a new one and replace the stock parts with whatever I salvaged from the old one.
Sorry to see that happen to your Jeep. There was a moment when I was looking through those pictures of the roof view and I almost couldn't even tell it was a Cherokee.

Well since it's always been trailered any way, I'm goin for the roof replacement. The fiberglass front fenders & hood are still good. It'll be a buggy I guess. The front of the cage needs redone. Winch bumper is still in the shop floor needing to be bent. Between this & building a new racecar chassis, I think the racecar is priority. Since we have the Parker 425 in Feb. But I may be able to get the roof done soon.

Glad your OK.
I'm rebuilding from a front end collision, on the road not a trail...
Anyways, I'd say for the effort it would take to out a donor roof back on, and fix the roll cage anyways, I'd just lose the roof all together and focusing on building a solid full roll cage. You could make half doors, and skin the roof if you need coverage.
It just would be a lot of work to pit a roof back on, with the possibility of rolling it again and smashing all the work you did. If it was full roll cage no roof, a rollover wouldn't be as bad, damage wise, I would think.

Don't remember where I got the skids from. Have everything to manufacture them, just didn't have the time. lol.. BTW if you look on the 2nd page of that thread, you'll see the cage & how it's mounted. As far as the roof goes, I only need to have the windshield to fit. Took 6 months of fab work to get it like it is. I think it'll be less of a pain to change the roof, as I look @ it more.
