Not a lot of Michigan snow 8-10inch just enough to have some fun on the way to work. First time dropping it in 4high... Girl goes through anything no problem. Love it! If I don't lift it does that make me a girly man? I'd rather buy a couple more tier 1 AR's. With my cash...

Hey, whatever floats your boat. Not lifting my daily driver, an FJ Cruiser, but will be lifting my XJ just for fun. AR's are fun too.

Hoping to get to do the same in my new-to-me XJ this winter. I'm not likely to get the same amount of snow as you up in Michigan though.

P.S. Congrats on the OSU win tonight.

Crazy you have that much snow already.

I also bought my XJ as a winter car. I really like it a lot.

Not lifting mine either as it's a DD most of the time now. Rides ok for what it is in factory specs.

Enjoy.

Take it from an old man OP, always keep at least half a tank of fuel in your vehicle during the winter months.

Oh yes I do run no lower then .5 a tank but on this tank I ran some sea foam through her (sea foam sore subject I'm sure) I was trying to get that crap out before refueling. She is now topped off Locked cocked & Ready to Rock.

Yeah I'm still debating the cost/effective/cool factor on the lift.

I love Mi. The seasons are amazing. I grew up always hot in the Arizona. I enjoy the cold.

I don't look forward to the heavy snows here in Mn. I'd be ok if it never snowed. The seasons are nice, but I much prefer the mountains of New Mexico. Much milder temps, with 4 seasons. Even some snow in the winter (usually melted by mid afternoon).

My daddy told me back in the 60's that a car runs better on the top half of the tank when it gets to half fill it up, most of all in the winter less room for moisture to build up.

As far as lifting an XJ is well stock seems........... unfinished looking and not ready for off road use.
