hey i hear taht some people remove their rear sway bar for more travel, but when you do this, does it have any adverse affects on highway handling? i use mine as a daily driver, to commute to work, which is a 30 minute 75 mph interstate ride, but i would also like more flex.....does removing the rear sway bar have any nevgative effects on road driving?
Heck, I took both mine out, Im not for or against it. On the one hand you gain a good amount of flex, but on the other you do get pretty good boddy roll and it bacomes a safty issue. Now with them gone i was still able to drift around corners but as you can tell i dont make the best choices.
The rear one has no effect on you and youll be just fine.

my lift called for me to remove and then ditch it. I did not notice it changing anything. My front is also off right now and other then a little more body roll I have not noticed anything.

ya i took my rear one off tonight, didnt notice anything. thanks guys
im looking at getting front diconnects, they are like 50 bucks, so i might as well, as im on road more than off, and i dont mind pulling a couple pins so i can get more flex in the front. i need to get different lca's first anyway, before i try to get more flex out of the front, now i got pro comp lca's with poly bushings. not the best for flex

I ditched mine a while back and its fine on the expressway at the speed you were questioning and a bit faster to. The only thing i notice is when its really windy on the expressway, it tends to push the jeep quiet a bit and passengers think its a bit scary. I think thats more because its lifted and not to aerodynamic though and maybe partially because the swaybar is gone

Tore mine out when I did my lift, seems to drive fine, but I didn't get it going all that fast with the huge leak in the freeze plug down the back of my head.

Depends on how stiff your springs are.... for most of us the rear sway bar does little or nothing at all. ditch it.
