Rear disc brake conversion on XJ
Good afternoon to all...
Has anyone performed a rear disc brake conversion on their XJ? Is it possible? How hard and expensive is it? Can you grab the parts from an junked XJ to make the conversion?

What rear end you have is almost a non-issue. Buy a rear axle out of a ZJ, take the parts off of it and put them on your rear axle. Works for chrysler 8.25 and dana 35 rear axles. I did it on my 8.25. One of the best mods i've done yet. Some say you need the ZJ proportioning valve but i didn't use it and it has been all good. Did the whole thing for $65 not including new bearings and seals. Tons of write-ups are available, search for them.
