RE vs. T&T vs. BDS
I am new to the game and all these choices are making my head spin. Can the experts or those with experience share their opinions on which lift kit is (subjective) best choice and why(include technical reasons if you can please). I realize this is all a matter of preference and user satisfaction but going to give this a shot anyway. I am looking at the higher end long arm lift kits either 5.5 or 6.5" to put 33"x10.5" (with option of 33x12.5 later) on a 2000 XJ. Either a RE, BDS or T&T Customs long arm kit. Please ignore the cost as it is not a factor. They are all in the same ball park and my intent is to go with a high quality lift. If any of you are reps for these companies I would love to have a side conversation with you.
P.S. I am contemplating going with a 4.5" long arm kit if it will fit 33x10.5s but I don't have a gauge of how much trimming would be required(would rather avoid trimming), how will my flex be effected/sacrificed and general aesthetics. If you can shed any light on this go for it. Would love to see pictures of your rigs if they have this set up also.
Thanks for the help.

all of those are good companies. but if cost was not a factor I'd have to go Clayton 4.5" long arm

or if you're really serious about cost not being a factor

O man I like these Clayton Kits as well. Do not want a rear coil conversion though. What are these 3 link kits all about? Any specific reasons why you recommend Clayton over the others?

that particular 3 link is what you would use for much larger tires and axles. or rock racing. it's just stronger but you wont really see much difference in flex or anything. the long arm kit will work just as well
through my research, clayton just seems to have the undisputed highest quality products.

You can not compair TNT to RE or BDS , TNT is far superrior , Now TNT and Clayton can be compaired in terms of quality and strength
I am considering both tnt and clayton for my XJ build.
I am leaning towards TNT because of the 1 Piece belly pan An I would have to Purchase a T case skid from Clayton which means more money out of my pocket An clayton has a 3 piece cross member . Both have a rear LA kit for the future . Both use Johnny Joints.
But at the end of the day I still don't know which one I would choose an I have been trying to decide for months !
My vote goes towards TNT or Clayton
