I know I want a 3" lift, but I'm not sure if I want to go with RC or Rusty's. I've heard the ride with RC is a little rougher, but you get what you pay for. I haven't heard too much about Rusty's, but thats where you guys come into play. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
Thanks!
no actual experience... but id still get a rustys over rc... i do have a basis for this decision, but idk, just doesnt seem waranted here.. like i said, no actual experience with either, just the way id go

I have experience in both RC and Rusty's.
rusty's:
soft springs, good ride, they sag rather quick tho (i went through 3 sets and I perfect spring angle - no kink/bow)
decent parts over all
customer service is hit or miss... I have had more bad than good. warranty is iffy too...
RC:
the "rough" ride is from their older stuff, they have changed the spring rates and coil wrap and I will be honest I love my RC coils.
the rear leaf packs are a little soft, good ride, and good flex.
the joint issue has been fixed with a new design (i just got the new joints for my long arms).
they are basically on par now (kinda) 3" wont matter to much.
where the difference is really made and what sets RC first in my mind is customer service. I cannot tell you how much better the customer service is from RC than from Rusty's.
plus we get 10% discount from RC
when getting shocks get Hydro. better ride than nitrogen and honestly not worth the extra money

I've got the rc 6.5 xseries with no complaints. No sag. Sit at about 7" actual. If I had to do it over I'd probably still get the same or iron rock offroad
