Default RC long arm kit

ok with me being a welder i pick up on small things when parts are pre-welded that i get. when i was looking over the skid plats for the trans and t-case i seen some nice gaps in the fit up on the t-case. im talking more then 1/8. i can see the back side of the welds.
when i was in school i was all ways told when you have a gap and you can get to the backside of the plate burn throw and clean it up and get full penn.

was wondering is any of you have had the seen the same thing on your plats. they are going to work ether way. i would think they should have more pride in how its looks on both sides.

im planning on welding up the gaps so i fell batter.g

Not to sound rude because I'm not trying but what do you expect from RC? Yes they are cheap for a kit and now you know why. Quality with RC is horrible. Parts wear out very quickly and RC knows of the issues but is not doing anything about them. You buy cheap you get cheap.

you know im not saying any thing back i was just wondering if any one else and see this on there's. so i know i did get the odd ball that slipped throw

Eh... I dont have their long arm but their quality in general is very hit and miss from my experience. Their leaves sag like crazy, the full packs I bought from them last year went from giving me 3 inches of lift to like 1 inch in the course of 10 monthes of intermediate use. Shocks are starting to go as well.

The lower control arms I bought from them, the bushings went bad in less than 6 monthes, basically im not impressed with the company as a whole in any respect besides price. Stuff shouldnt be wearing out that fast.

I've heard they have actually been getting better, according to what i've heard years ago their stuff used to be awful and its slowly getting better.

lol. dude, no offense, but use punctuation. lol.
i mean, if you're gonna pick apart someones spelling, make sure you at least use proper punctuation and sentence structure.

anyways, rc sux. my friends 6 month old rc kit has a bad lower control arm and has gone through 3 bushings so far. none of which is covered by rc.

for 80 bux for the bushings, it's almost cheaper to just buy a R.E kit and be done with it.

I have RC stuff.... Havent had any issues with bushings. My leaves still hold me up 4.5" too. the only thing that went wrong was a blown out shock but they have a lifetime warranty. So i sent it back to my dealer and he sent me a new one.

It's funny to hear all the bad things about RC but when someone posts what kind of lift kit to get the majority of people chime in with RC.

I have been using RC since I was young back in the 80's when they first started and now I have been selling RC for the last five years and I sell a lot of them, at least two to three kits a week. I'm not going to tell you that we have never had a problem, but when we do, out of all of the other companies RC has the BEST customer service. Most of the time parts are overnighted with no charge! I service what I sell and we have had very little problems with their kits. They are cheap no doubt and you get what you pay for, but most people are looking at the bottom line price and very few care about ride quality or longevity. A lot of our customers usually sell out within two years and are back buying another kit. I will usually try to get a feel for what the customer is using his/her vehicle for, ya know street queen, weekend warrior, hardcore wheeling etc... before suggesting RC. If you all have any questions about them or other kits just give me a call. BTW FREE SHIPPING for any kit over $500.00 for all you members dropped shipped directly to you! Or if your down in Texas close to Houston area look us up and we can install it for you.
