Looks like a "mig gone mad" or a dirt dauber with a learning disability.

If I'm going through all the trouble of taking the manifold off then I sure as hell am going to be replacing it. Not setting the welder on low heat/no penetration and bubble gumming it together

I have a feeling the reason it looks so bad is that he tried to weld it up while still on the Jeep. Any beginning mig welder should be able to do better than that after a tiny bit of instruction or watching a YouTube video.

Honestly to me it looks like the product of that cheap $89 welder from harbor freight, given how much wire is stuck in it. I've only ever seen one use a few times before and it came out looking like burnt cookie dough with sticks in it just like this.
