I've only seen one 97+ overhead console in the JY. I'm sure they're not as rare as I'm thinking though, but still. between 4 or 5 junkyards and probably 40 xj's, one. Ooooh 97+ tow hooks too. haven't seen a single set in the jy yet

They are pretty rare. I have one. And in the last two years in about 30 junk yard trips, I've found 3.

170k something. I replaced the gauge cluster and forgot to write down the mileage when I did it. I know it was just at 170k when I swapped the cluster out, and I don't drive much. Oh well, I know it's wrong and will tell the buyer the truth. Haha.

No you dont, if I remember correctly it was Garbage.

The one that North America got was garbage (2.1L Renault J8S Diesel, only offered 85-87) but I've heard that the 2.5L VM Motori 425OHV Diesel offered in 94+ export models was decent.

That's the same company that's building the V6 diesel in the 1500 series ram this year.
