Does anyone know where I can locate some rain gutter (brackets only) as they are all I need to fab my own roof rack.

I have a buddy that works at an aluminum fab shop and can supply me with all the aluminum pipes at cost.

My plan is to build a lightweight rack, and do all the fab and fitment-then have his weldor weld it all up for me but i am having no luck at finding just the roof rail rain gutter brackets.

Those rain gutter claps ^ are " KAR 5054-1 " rain gutter clamps.

I didnt like that they did not have a bolt to tighten them on the rail before you used the bolt other to clamp the 2 pieces together. I just thought they could come loose easier. I just like the added protection of having the extra bolt holding it.

 

Ahhh, I understand.

 

I bought Thule low mount gutter mounts and love them. Not the cheapest, but so stinkin solid... I could pick my truck up by them, I think.
