I just bought a new radiator at auto zone. installed it put the new cap on and it does not fit. went back got another and that doesn't fit either. tried 2 more cap with no success. the guy at auto zone are at a lose. they are calling the manufacturer to find out which cap fits but I need one know. I would like to drive it. any suggestions would help. thanks

 

Get an OEM radiator cap from a dealership.

 

ya that is what I was thinkin of doing tomorrow. but the one that was on the old radiator is the OEM and it did not fit either, but it is a little worn out. So I am willing to try it.

 

Got the OEM cap and it does not fit call the manufacturer and they don't know what is going on. I am getting a new radiator from them with cap that fits. spectrum premium is the company they are very helpful.

 

sounds like a friday at 4:45 rad to me
