Default quick tow question?

im moving to florida to attend UTI MMI ( marine mechanics) and im leaving in JAN.

i have a 95 xj with 3in lift 30in tires. everything else is stock.

the car that i might be towing is a 02 lexus IS300 which is RWD.

can i tow that car with a car dolly on the jeep if the car is in N and the rear wheels on the ground and the front wheels on the dolly. Or do i have to get a full car dolly and if so would the xj be okay doing so.

if towed cars before but with a f250 and a chevy 3500van and it was a reg 2 wheel car dolly.

so if anybody can help me out pleas do so. thanks for looking

happy holidays

I don't know anything about the Lexus. Is it FWD? Is so, the dolly would be fine, and the XJ will be able to handle it with no problems.

I'm not sure how anyone thinks this is remotely safe but sure it can be done... not safely in any way but yeah it can be done.

Just like I could tow my XJ with my Ford Ranger, doesnt mean its safe.

when estimating the capablities of you jeep keep in mind weight, you don'y want the trailing car to push you around

Yeah, you can do it, but its not safe. You are pushing the towing limits of your truck, a truck with crappy brakes.

Just be careful if you have to, give yourself plenty of room to stop.
