Default Quick Discos Question (Sorry)

I recently installed a BDS 4.5" lift kit with the quick disconnects. I disconnected them today just to see how "Quick they would be. They come off fine but getting them back on was a little harder because once you got one side on the other side would either be a little short or little long, so it would make them harder to slide back on. Another question i had was about the stabilizer bar in the front. Is it suppose to just move around freely? Once i undid my quick discos the bar could just move freely up or down. Any info would help thanks

My R.E. discos are probably the same, and i have to fight to get the other side in after I've done one side. I suggest a small hammer.

The swaybar should be able to move up and down if disconnected, but not real freely. It should have some binding, otherwise i would replace your bushings at the frame.

Should work fine. When I ran mine I'd find the flattest spot and sometimes still had to push down or lift up a little to get them to line up on the second side.

It should move pretty freely just as long as there is no slop in the bushings you should be fine.

As in you can move it around not just up and down.

Bushings are cheap and ones in the JY might be just as bad. Also jeep used about 5 different sizes.

Are you talking about the sway bar or the bushings? Both can be bought from places like Quadratec.

For bushings i would suggest polyurethane, put some on mine a while back.
