Here's the plan:
Right now it's an all stock 4.0 auto Dana 35. I don't really want to lift it, but I still want to make it fairly trailable:
Meaty A/T's or M/T's.
Front recovery points (already a class V hitch in the back)
Quick disconnect sway bars.
All this with the goal of only being stuck enough that somebody else can still pull me out, but not stock enough that I'm better of staying on pavement.
I plan on using the Jeep for a DD/light trail use that will include some mud, some rocks, some hills. Nothing serious. Are the Quick Disconnect sways worth it for me, or am I better off not messing with it?

Unless you're adding a lift so you can really flex it (or your running smaller than 235's on the stock suspension) I doubt you'll see much gain by adding disco's to the front. Sitting at stock height, I'd go for a little larger tires like 30's for the ground clearance and keep the sway bar as is. If you ever lift it, I'd worry about the disco's then. I would get rid of the rear sway bar for sure though...

NO NO NO! Discard that^^^ disconnects up front will help a ton in articulation, even on a stock rig! Yes get rid of the rear, & get some 30x10.5 (or 31x10.5 tires with a little trimming). You will want to make sure your coil retainer clips are still in place (holds the spring to the axle), cause with the greater amount of flex you will get the springs could fall out!!! You will be surprised how much flex you can get out of stock suspention. You are gonna want some skid plates tho

Thanks for all the advice guys, I appreciate it. I'll definitely probe deeper into getting a set as well as some skid plates. This is what I've managed so far, nothing gone:

To be fair, I think it could go farther but with these stupid$%& road tires I can't get up on anything. They go first.
