Default questions before i sink in

ok so im running a 3 inch lift extended brake lines and long travel shocks and 33's
lovin the locg
but im coming across and amazing good deal on a set of 36's with 80 or more percent tread for 200 bucks

so this is what im thinking

adding another inch and a half lift and getting a slip yoke
but!!
what slip yoke should i get and what else do i need?

your going to need to do either alot of trimming or lifting it more with trimming if you were thinking about puting those on your rig

you will need larger axles. the d30 front axle and what ever you have in the back will not handle the 36's. a d44 rear with alloy shafts could handle some of the obuse. you will need to have the new axles regear'd, control arms, adjustable trackbar, bumpstops. just to name a few

36's are a large heavy tire. i would think twice. you will need to spend some $$ to withstand those tires.

what rear axle do you have? the d30 will not hold up to much abuse with 33's or 35's let alone 36's. if you have a 27 spline d35 or 8.25 you can snap a shaft on the street.

are you asking with the 36 inch tires? because if so I don't know, I know people who have broken axles on 31's, it really depends on what you're doing / going to do in the future

would I wheel 36's on stock axles? no. I have broken so many d30 and d44 shafts with 33's and 35's. theres no way i run 36's

why go for it? thats just plain stupid. it would suck breaking something when you are not close to home or on the trail. fix it now and do it right. less headache in the end.
