Quad brake lights
I've been pondering this idea that was inspired from the quad brake lights on a WJ where u pop open the bottom light socket on the housing and run another bulb making it 4 tail lights that light up. I was thinking of tinting the reverse lights red and splicing in power ftom the brake lights. I think this will look sexy, or am I crazy?

Think ya kinda need to have reverse lights for situations like backing out of a parking spot at a store, or even backing up on a trail ride so the people behind you know to get out of the way.

You don't really need reverse lights for that, although it definitely helps if you do have working reverse lights in parking lots.. Mine don't work since the NSS was bypassed from the PO, and I haven't gotten around to fixing it yet lol.

I'm pretty sure in most states that any vehicle requires at least one reverse light, don't hold me to it but i've got it covered lol

I run euro-style taillights on my XJ, did a similar thing, but with the parking lights instead of the brake lights.
The euro-tails have 2 red round lenses in them, and upper and lower, and a clear for the reverse light. Typically the bottom red lense would only have the blinker in it, with a single filament bulb. I spliced the parking light wire from the top light/lense harness (the brake/parking light) into the harness for the blinker. I also replaced the blinker bulb with a dual-filament bulb to facilitate both functions.
(Note: I had to replace all of my tailight sockets when I swapped out to the euro-tails due to some sealant used on them by the previous owner that had fouled up the sockets. When I replaced them, i used 3-wire sockets for both the brake light and blinker. The blinker socket is normally only a 2-wire socket).
No good pictures, just one taken at night from the cell phone, but can take/post more if requested.
(This is the parking lights on, not the brakes)

Honestly I wasn't either, at least the 1 style I found available, but I wanted to stick with the black/gold (desert sand pearl) theme I had going, and the amber in the factory lamps was killing me.
I purchased the euro (same as altezza lights) with blacked out inner housings instead of the polished/chromed. After having them for a while now, I love the look, especially at night where the parking lights look LED.
Other option was VHT'ing the tailights, which I did do to the 3rd brake light lense as I couldn't find any alternatives for blacking it out, but not a fan of reducing the amount of light my vehicle gives off at night.
