I just bought a 1999 Jeep Cherokee 4x4, auto, 4.0 with 356k miles for $1000. The prev owner said engine was rebuilt around 280k and it runs strong! I could not pass it up. The reason he was selling was because he got into an accident and front driver side was messed up. So I bought it and just bought a header panel, headlight bezel, lights, and fender to fix it for $200 on ebay. So I will have around $1200 invested and the Jeep will be good to go. I attached some pictures and just started an album. I already took off the fender and thank goodness to a sawzall it was very easy to remove it, bend the mounts and save all of the screws.

Is that the part under the fender flare? Currently neither side will have a fender flat or anything besides the fender. I know I will eventually try and get everything fixed on the jeep. It has a little rust but not bad to where I am very concerned.

You will most likely just cut them to clear larger tires anyway so no need to do any more to them.
