I spent tons of time prepping my jeep before painting (close to 30 hours of body work, sanding, priming, wetsanding, etc). Never sandpaper with your hand as the backing. You'll get scratches from different pressure points. Always use the paper with a block as the backing. You'll never get a perfect paintjob if you're doing it yourself. My flat black came out pretty good, and I often get compliments on it, but I would have done bedliner if I could do it again, just because that is meant to have imperfections.

I guess beeline would be my next choice in line.
