Default Pretty damned stoked!

I mentioned in my introduction thread that Im brand new to the Jeep community and am really looking forward to chatting with you all about Jeep 'stuff'.I bought a 1998 Cherokee Sport 4 door and its only got 80000 klms(50000 miles).I do plan on dressing it up a bit, maybe wheels and tint etc.

As you can see its starting from a clean slate so skys the limit. Here in my neck of the woods it doesnt start to get cold till dec when the snow starts up so I do have time to get a few things done to it.

Nice looking Jeep. I noticed your username, is that because the new Jeep smells like wet dog? My 98 XJ smelled like wet dog when I first bought it!

Don't spend a cent until you've given carefully thought to what kind of wheeling you plan on doing. Building a rock crawler that will only see dirt roads is a waste two very valuable things...time and money.

And welcome to C.F.

^^^^^^yup, listen to this guy (just a little, jk). When ready to build your jeep, you wanna determine what suits you.

Nice looking rig you have there! Nothing better than an unmolested XJ >

My advice is start small. Basic repairs and preventative maintenance come first over mods.

Here's an easy start. Get some plastic restore stuff and bring those faded gray plastic trim pieces and fender flares back to life.

And a trailer hitch! Whether you tow or not a hitch is very useful for recovery.
