Had this mysterious oil leak so we pressure washed the engine bay. The left side of the motor where the filter adapter we cleaned up very well. I noticed a white mark on the side of the block. Yup says 1995 Cherokee writing with a paint pen. JUNK YARD MOTOR!!! No clue what the engine has for mileage! It almost made me sick to my stomach.

Granted my dad had mine before I got it so I'm not sure what the PO outside our family did to it but the most/worst that I found was the rust I had to fix and the blown speakers, the original sound bar speakers I believe were good though out of the 6

93 CHEROKEE SPORT. Rust through out. I pulled enough wires out of this thing to rewire another Cherokee. Seats out of a 95 drilled through the floor pans. Non working reverse lights. Shot steering. Bad 35's Transmission cooler leak. Oil filter leaking. Remnants of an alarm system still wired in. On a plus side. Hid's and Over the knuckle steering that is extremely beefy. I'm not going to use it though. Might list it up for sale to dump more money elsewhere

Noticed some duct tape peaking through from behind the glove box. Pulled the glove box out to uncover a big patch of duct tape that was covering a hole cut into what I guess is a big cavity that's a part of the AC system. Used my cell phone to take a picture of what might have been inside. No money, no drugs, no nothing. At least not since I bought it.
Also, the radiator blew on my way home from purchasing it from a small car lot a few hours away. Coolant system was mostly sludge.. I blame the dealership for doing nothing but prettying the jeep up and me for not checking it. This jeep has taught me a lot.

A set of latex gloves and the locking wheel nut thing, wrapped in a strangely sweet smelling cloth and neatly secured with a rubber band. All this in the STILL LOCKING centre console.
I chose not to ask.

A 4ga. subwoofer (the subwoofer itself had been removed but the cables were left) power cable run directly from the positive battery terminal and through the fire-wall with no grommet (both a fire hazard and let moisture in that rusted the passenger front floor pan, luckily I caught it before it got too bad).
A slowly leaking water-pump, that left the cooling system 1 gal. low (I'm amazed it didn't overheat on the drive home).
Finger tight valve-cover bolts (no wonder it leaked so bad).
A stack of receipts for maintenance/repairs in the glove box.
Spark-plugs burned down to the insulators (idle smoothed out allot after replacing those).
Broken beer-bottles under the back seat.
A partially disconnected anti-theft system (it had a starter interrupt relay but the control box was removed and the relay trigger tied to a switched hot, I have no idea why they didn't just remove the relay).
