The tucson pick and pull is on camino de la tierra in between orange grove and la cholla. I dont think it is listed in the phone book but it is across the street from chucks trucks to give you a reference point. The junkyards in the area you visited are ridiculous. They sell all parts for like 5 dollars less than new. I stay away from them unless i reallllly reallllly need something. PM me if you need anything special. I have a parts cherokee and a large collection of stock and aftermarket parts.

Although I did score a transmission from them once for about 70 bucks...
They're prices are higher because they're part of the AARA which I think is a bunch of tree huggin' hippies that want to make things cost more so they can claim their practices are "green" or what ever.

So my buddy just bought a 90 xj a few weeks ago. It's got a weird 4.5" lift and brand new 32's. Well He decided to go to the junk yard the other day. (God I wish I went before him). Well he got to talking to one of the guys there about his cherokee and that he was wondering if they had any lifted ones around. The guy said he had one in the back he was saving for his XJ but he wrecked a couple days ago and didn't have a use for the one he had saved anymore. So here is list of stuff he got off the Cherokee the worker had been saving.
5.5'' RE adj short arm lift
Homeade rear bumper with swingout tire carrier
4.10 gears
ARB Air lockers front and rear with compressor and switchs
np231 transfer case with SYE and tom woods drive shaft
Super 35 kit
Diff Covers front and rear
Dana 30 and Dana 35. He just bought the whole axles.
He got everything for 400 and they even loaded it in his rig for him.

Did you get to Elgin back in Dec, Mr Mikey? I'll be in Chicago next week and want to hit a yard or 2....should it be Wadsworth and Elgin? I'll strip parts like a thief, pay for them, natch....and then ship them back to MT to go on my 90 XJ. Funny....the yards in Milwaukee area are slim on Jeep stuff. Go figger! :>)

i found a pretty much rust free LWB bed for one of my Comanches and I had to buy the whole truck from the wrecking yard for 4 bills. Pretty sweet. truck had MO plates so I brought it home. (no rust to speak of) buddy has it now and its got a 300-6 Ford and its on 35s... oops never mind. Great find on the box!
