Possible New Jeep Owner..
Hey Guys!
FNG here! I am looking at buying a fairly used 99 Jeep cherokee with 170k on the dash, 1 owner the guy selling it bought it at a auction. Ive see the autocheck report and it came back with a score of 84 with most similar vehicles coming back at a 33-59. No accidents nothing. Looks pretty clean the guy replaced the breaks tires still have some tread has some electrical issues like the stereo resetting when the car goes off. The divider between passenger and driver is wobbly ha ha but other than that the thing seemed to run great. (From what I have read jeeps tend to have alot of electrical issues?) Anyways he was asking 3800 I countered with 1k less he said lowest he could go and still make a profit would be 3300.
What do you guys think?

Personally, without having that vehicle in front of us, there is no way anyone could offer any type of an accurate opinion. If you don't know what to look for in a used vehicle and are depending on price as your only guide, pay a trusted certified mechanic $100 to look it over for you. Cherokees in particular can bury you financially in a hurry.
