Poll: Rear Seat is it up or down MORE?
Question: Does your rear seat spend more of it's time folded down/flat or upright (ready for passengers...full of stuff or not)?
Looking through the site, one thing kinda gets me, a lot of folks almost never use their rear seats...if they have them. So I figured I would do a poll.
Choose the BEST that fits your situation. Some will have exceptions and exemptions, but this is for fun and not fully scientific. If you aren't sure, ask.
1. Down more than up.
2. Up more than down.
3. Split, 1 up, 1 down (G.Cherokees, XJ modified, etc.)
4. Fixed in place, up or down (mod.'d or model of Jeep...not broken or loaded with Junk)
5. Broken (up or down)
6. What rear seat! (pick-ups, modified, etc.).

Interesting poll...
Mine are always up because of constant multiple passengers (when the jeep is running)
And I never haul anything that can't fit in the cargo area.
Do you think that 2 vs 4 door would factor into this?

I don't see an option for mine.. It has 1 suspension seat in the center or 2 suspension seats, or no seats. Harnesses are clip in & seats are mounted with quick pins.

Mine are always up but for different reasons
1. Passangers
2. Having them up allows me to store stuff in the back without having them roll around etc.
3. I noticed my subwoofer provides better bass when the seats are up (or I'm just crazy)
4. Kind of the same as 91 limited owner said, the material my seats are made of are much easier to clean than the carpet on the backs of them
5. I personally think it looks cleaner inside with the rear seats up, looks more complete as wel

I guess it's up, since there's usually at least 1 back there. Unless we're goin camping or something where we need space..

My rear seat is down more than up. I have the back full of tools and when I go to work out at my tree farm, I carry my chains saws and other tools, so I need more room. Unless, that is, I'm driving my '76 Power Wagon for pulling the tractor on the trailer or hauling firewood.

They are down now.
My extra bottle of coolant is tied to my spare so it doesn't move around and my backpack is wedged under the folded down seat.

I'm 6 foot even and know I'm right at that threshold...so I can see that problem. I'm not crazy about the seat settings/options for positioning either. Granted I have the Limited's leather power driver seat, not sure it is the most adjustable option.
