For anyone that has used this on their vehicle, fenders/quarters/rockers specifically, did you do any prep work beyond cleaning the area first? Any scuffing with a scotch brite pad or something similar?

Plastidip is a good way to see how something will look before you go through with real paint/powder coat/bedliner. I did my fenders and they are holding strong. As soon as they show wear I'm going to peel them and them bedline.

Didn't think so on the prep work but wanted to be sure before applying any.
I picked up a bottle at the local auto parts store today, I apparently didn't look at the picture I found online too closely, and assumed it was an aerosol product like the spray on bed liners, but appears to be just a bottle that you would normally dip tool handles in to coat them.
Whats the preferred method of applying to a vehicle?
Edit: Appears to comes in either an aerosol or "dipping" bottle, guess I have to go back to the parts store >.<
