I have a 1998 XJ Sport that I'm looking to replace the bumper and end caps. I came across a 98 Classic bumper on craigslist that is body color. I'm assuming that this bumper is the same as my Sport, and should bolt directly on correct? I just wanted to double check before I buy it.

Great, thanks. I figured that, but just wanted to make sure besides the body color of the bumper, that it was the same.

 

What do you think would be a fair price for the stock bumper that includes the end caps. He has it listed for $250.00 but that includes the fog lights. I don't need the fog lights and was thinking of offering $175.00 for it. Do you think that is a fair price to start with?

 

Seems pretty expensive to me. I see people selling their stock bumpers for less than $100 all the time.

 

I wouldn't pay for it if it weren't the stock body color. Certainly the black bumpers are cheaper and less desirable. He also is only selling it with the fog lights, which I figure I can sell for about $50.00 anyway. I'm going to see if I can get him down to around $170, he wants $200.00 now with the fogs.
