pilot automotive foglights
... all i can say is wow. biggest piece of garbage ever. im sitting in a parking lot with a friend and he starts laughin saying my fog lights hanging. about 10 minutes before this they were fine. the thing just snapped off. i dont know if temperature plays a factor on the plastic its made of? maybe it was too cold for it. but w/e point is there garbage and for any of you guys out there like me save the few bucks and get some kc lights.
one more thing...dose anyone know if pilot has a warenty for these things? the site i ordered from has only a 14 day return policy and they were ordered in november for me for a christmas gift. there not even installed for 2 weeks yet.

I have the walmart blazers. I mounted them in the stock holes and they are pretty bright BUT the mounting hardware SUCKS. I have had them on there maybe 4 months and I would probably have to saw them off the bumper at this point. If you buy them invest in good galvanized bolts and maybe a piece of stainless or galvanized steel to make a new bracket out of.

get the KCs and don't look back. I had the walmart lights and they were okay, but the KCs are definitely worth the money. Some people will argue that its pointless to spend more money on certain lights. I call bull**** on that one! Some things you are just paying for the name, but with lights more often than not you will get what you pay for. I got the long range KC slimlights with the 130 watt bulbs. They have payed for themselves numerous times as I can spot deer from a mile down the road. The walmart lights gave me about 5 more feet of visibility, while the KCs give 10x that. They are also better made, and the harness is pretty easy to install also. Well built lights that I can put on and forget about messing with afterwards are the kind I like.
I also had the Hella 500s but didn't really like the plastic housings. They cracked too easily. I've had the KCs about a year and love them...

I agree with RevzeroX the Baja Blazers are great for the light they provide but need modification before installation. Anyone with a little time and even less money could make a nice pair of lights out of them.
