Hi ,took the kids to the river the other day and had a picnic,the kids loved it,it got me thinking ,all of the trips we take are short day trips.we take some sort of food,but not really set up to tail gate it. I am looking for ideals to make that really cool,any ideals ?

 

they make a tent that hooks to the liberty when the back is open, maybe it would work on a cherokee? other wise, the way we do it on the beach is bring a tarp and some bungee cords and tie up between two jeeps for some shade from the sun.

not sure if its that important to you but i have to stay in the shade as much as possible, 34 and already had skin cancer removed at 32.

 

Shade is nice ,I was thinking about using the hatch when open. I like the trap ideal ,kind of fits in with the Budget .any cancer is bad ,hope your doin well !

 

oh ya, they cut it out and froze the rest. one spot they had to do again but its ok, hopefully this time.

i have cool scars on my back now though, looks like bullet hole scars. i can make up whatever story i want for them.

the bad one is next to my eye. that one keeps coming back. i make sure my kids wear sunblock like crazy now. make sure yours do too

Yea with as many as I have to cover might have to invent a n auto spray system.no seriously we try to have them well protected.cancer sucks I just lost my dad two weeks ago to it,he was a great outdoorsman.This xj was the last car we got together.I think he would like the tailgater style build,shade,table,chairs,and especially a cold drink! Kind of for the kids to learn about the outdoors in.
