perches already welded to bolt directly in, new brakes, 3.55 gears welded, new yoke to bolt directly to driveshaft, all for $180. do you think its worth it?

disk brake or drum?
not liking the fact that the spiders are already welded, but its a cheap easy locker i guess.
I bought mine for $140 with brand new brakes (disk) and perches welded with 3.73's. But I also bought it from someone I knew and they aren't to hard to find around by me. I have also seen them go for well over $180.
$180 is not bad since the perches are welded on already. The brakes would be the factor for me anyway. If it has disk brakes I say go for it. If it doesn't, well that would be up to you.

well if everything seems legit then Id say go for it. Have you seen inside the diff., just to check his weld job on the spider gears? New spiders don't cost much, but just make sure it looks right. does it come with calipers? do the brakes still look usable (rotors and pads)?
If all of this checks out, I would say go for it. Remember, you'll need new U-Bolts to. But you should get new U-Bolts every time you mess with old ones.

Well now that I think about it, I know a guy who'd sell me a d35 out of a tj with an arb air locker and 3.73s for like 200-230......

get the 8.8.....its already got the same gearing as you(more than likely) have and you wont have to regear your front.
its well worth that price although I dont like welded spiders but a JY trip and less than $20 would fix that and the 8.8 is way stronger than a D35.
