Default Perfect Day for a wheelin trip!

Well me and a few friends headed up to Uwharrie National forest in NC yesterday and it ended up being probably the best weather we have ever had there. it was just perfect. At the most it was high 70's, overcast, and every once and a wile it would sprinkle a bit to keep things interesting. Our crowd consisted of 4 XJs and one full size built chevy on 42's. Here are a few pics from our trip.

There are always a bunch of stockers out there. They have the trails rated from easy to hard. But the awesome thing about the hard trails are that there are always detour trails around the harder obsticles. So you can literaly go on all the trails and avoid all the real big stuff. The only thing you may want to consider is some frame sliders so you dont knock your rocker panels on rocks. they tear up easy. I wouldn't just run up there by your self or anything because there is always a chance of getting hung up on something. But as long as you have a few trucks with you you should be fine. We head up there about once a month so if you want next time you are more then welcome to meet up with us. Message me if you think you may want to.

Definately man. We try to go at least once a month and when it cools down we do some overnight trips. I hope you had a decent outcome in that mudpit. Not sure which one it was, but i know there are some sick holes out there. You can get turned around in that place easy if you've never been, not to mention stuck but looks like you have long travel so your prob good to go. Let us know if you want to join ill let you know the next time were heading up.

Got towed out by a Can-Am with a winch and killed an alternator on that one (mud pit). Was watching some tape we took and boucned her off a tree and bent in some sheet metal over the right rear tire on Dickey Bell.
