I was Joking, unless someone does want to buy it for 5k then I'm very serious.

 

I bought my '90 a couple years ago from the original owner with all records for $800. At the time I thought there was a good chance I'd just re-sell it once I got bored with it. I liked the way it drove a lot, once I learned what it could do off-road in stock condition it became a keeper. It would be nice if it had more power and got better mileage, but I can live with what it's got. The only ones I see for that price are wrecked and/or total projects, and usually with expired Reg., missing title, etc.

 

are you sure, absolutely sure its a 97. because from what i know that color was 98 and 99 only.
is it auto or manual.

 

Does Canadian make a difference? Looks odd being that color and a 2 door.

 

It says 1997 on the Title/Registration and it's an automatic.

 

There is a lot of Cherokee's in my area and I have yet to see another 2 or 4 door in that colour. At first I was EH whatever it's purple but it's growing on me fast.

 

... Um it's deep amethyst pearl, and they're classy ladies that require a gentleman to drive.

 

my 4 dr. is that color. i saw a 2 dr of this color this weekend, i want soooo badly.
maybe it was bought and first registered in 97? but as a 98 model?
or im flat out wrong with it being a 98 and 99 exclusive color?

 

 

That's a lot of $, but it's low mile, immaculate, and seems to have the best of everything done to it. Just as, or more important, the seller detailed all the parts installed and knows how to make sentences. Most illiterate ads are attached to junk and vise-versa.

 

I had the same impression but it's still pretty expensive. Guess the peace of mind is worth it I guess.

 

And note that it is "setting" not "sitting" on 42x14x16's. LMAO!!
