Have any of you ever gotten the stupid *** question of why you lifted your jeep? And furthermore someone tells you about how you shouldn't lift "that kind" of jeep?

Guy at work knew I was looking at getting another jeep after I got rid of my 88. I was looking at a jk ****** but then found a 90 in great shape. He was all excited till he found out it's a xj. He started harassing me about why not a tj or yj. He was schooling me in how his moms stock yj is better than my lifted locked and geared xj. That pissed me off a touch but I have gotten good about extolling the virtues of the xj platform.

Hum, no one ever asked me that question before about my XJ.
But on my 78 Malibu Wagon they have asked me why I race a wagon, my reply because very few door cars can beat me!
Hell boys you only live once go for broke while you still can, enjoy life to the fullest!!
