Default parts interchange

I have a 1996 jeep cherokee with a 4.5" lift and i was just wondering if a 1992 jeep cherokee parts would work on my jeep. I found one here a while back and needed the drivers seat but the mounting of the seat was way different than mine.

They should. Same body style, so swapping should be more or less unlimited for anything that is NOT electronic. But, mechanical parts should swap freely. The cylinder head on the 1996 would likely need to be D/T 1/8"NPT to accept the CTS to drive the IP gage, but that's about it.

92 the seats mount flat to the floor, 96, the front mounts to a brace that was not there in the early 90s. You should be able to remove the seats from the sliders though and swap them that way
