Didn't NY go through the same heat wave and drought conditions as Wisconsin did, in the beginning of summer. 60 plus days of 90 or hotter with out rain. You get the same weather as I, just a few days later.

I painted military vehicles (for Oshkosh Truck Co.) And the camo patterns would start to fade in a couple of months, of being outside waiting for the pick-up date. Which made touch work extremely hard. You would end up redoing the camo job on the whole side or top. Because the new flat paint doesn't match the older flat paint. Big PITA!

How big of a compressor is needed for a paint gun? I have a decent paint gun from harbor freight and 2.5hp 21 gallon compressor. Also, what psi do you run at? Iv done the rattle can paint job before, as long as you prep it and its the right temperature it can come out great. Would like to try the paint gun next however.

There is a reason why the inside of a solar panel box is painted Flat black. Or why snow melts off a dark colored roof faster than a light colored one. But You can paint it what over color, you wish. I've used a pancake compressor to spray paint. Just thin it out. If your going to shoot clear over it. You might as well start out with Gloss Black enamel. Save some time and materials.

I just did my raptor liner and when I was researching to find which product to use I saw alot of undercoating paint jobs. Everyone says they are great but they fade, that's the big problem.

Is that armor, spray paint, or undercoating/bedliner around the bottom and rear qp of your truck? Ive been debating on doing this to mine, that looks awesome.
