Rattle cans don't have a wide enough spread imo. 9/10 rattle can jobs that are actually decent you can see the strokes they took...

Take your time and do it right. I'm not apposed to rattle cans, but you will never get a show quality job out of a can.
Vinyl Wrapping is pretty cheap. $300 in vinyl and we did a 2005 Tahoe in a day. I got pics somewhere. Just take your time and move slow. Heat guns are your best friend.

Here's a question, if I am going to buy some gillespie coating in rattle cans, would it be a good idea to put clear coat on it?

Flat black fades very quickly, so if you where to want to touch it up down the road. It will stick out like a sore thumb. Flat black primer attracts moisture over time. Not to mention it is the most light absorbing color. In other words it will rise the inside ambient temperature. If you live in a sunny climate, this might not be very handy. (Then I would use flat white)
