Has anyone painted the 5 spoke stock alloy wheels?
I can't seem to find any pictures anywhere

I always thought it was difficult to get paint to stick to "alloy" rims.

Could always plastidip them and if it's ugly peel it off

Sandblast, And paint them with a good quality paint. Gloss Black and a coat of clear would be my choice. They also look good if you buff them out to a nice (polished aluminum)shine.

I would say that the key is just scuffing them up enough for the primer to adhere to the surface.

A good trick I found with the Duplicolor or Rustoleum wheel paints is take your wheels and sit them in the sun for an hour to get them hot first.
