Yeah, the D35 is good for on road and light off-road use but if its pushed to hard it'll snap or an axle tube will bend lol Upgrade was definetly worth it

The only difference between the '91 "Briarwood" and the '91 "Limited" is the wood grain accents. I am the third onwer of my XJ (my mother being the second) So when I inherited it. It came with all the paperwork since it's birth. (including the sticker) They didn't offer the D44 with the towing pkg. It came with D35. If you want to know for sure. Mine has the 8.25 rear end. Does yours have a D35?

 

Mine has D35. There was a typo on there build sheet. It says wrong tire size. (16"). The other thing I find amazing is all the complaints about engine heat. On here by people. But yet mine has the winter insulation pkg. And I've never had overheating problems. Unless those folks do a lot of idling in one spot.
